TONOR TW820 Troubleshooting
Operational issues
Q:
The microphone isn't working and the receiver's RF indicator light isn't on.
How can I fix this ?
A:
Check if the microphone numbers are duplicated (Note: The microphone IDs A/B are unique. For model TW821, the bodypack must be set to ID B to work properly.)
If the numbers are correct, follow steps (2)-(5).
If the numbers are duplicated, follow steps (1)-(5)
1) Bodypack: Turn on the non-working bodypack, press the SET button first, then the power button, hold it down, and wait for the microphone screen to switch between A and B before releasing the buttons (approximately 5 seconds).
2) Turn off the receiver.
3) Microphone/Bodypack: Turn off the microphone/bodypack, press the microphone HI-LO button/bodypack SET button first, then the power button, hold it down, and wait for the screen to flash before releasing the buttons (approximately 5 seconds).
4) Turn on the receiver, click the microphone HI-LO button/bodypack SET button, and the RF indicator on the receiver will stay on, indicating that pairing is successful.
5) If there are multiple non-working microphones, repeat the above steps to fix them.
Q:
The microphone frequently disconnects during use and has a very short operating range.
How can I fix this ?
A:
1) In an interference-free environment, the maximum operating distance is 60m. Keep the microphone and receiver in a straight line of sight as much as possible.
2) Switch the microphone to another frequency to avoid interference from nearby signals.
3) Keep the microphone and receiver away from interference sources such as mobile phones, radios, and other transmitting devices.
4) Do not place the receiver in a metal cabinet!
Q:
I experience noise during use. How can I fix it ?
A:
1) Check whether the audio interface is properly connected.
2) Troubleshoot problems 1 and 2.
Q:
What should I do if there is no sound ?
A:
1) Check whether the beltpack is muted. After turning on the beltpack, click the power button to mute it (the power indicator turns red). Click it again to unmute it (the power indicator turns green).
2) Check whether the amplifier has a 6.35mm/XLR MIC input interface.
3) Check whether all audio interfaces are properly connected.
4) Turn up the volume on the microphone and amplifier.
5) Check for any faults described in Problem 1.
Q:

A:
1) Set all microphones to different frequencies.
