TONOR TW621 Troubleshooting

πŸ›  TONOR Wireless Microphone: Troubleshooting & User Guide
1. Quick Start Guide
- Connection: Insert the receiver into the MIC input of your audio device. If using the 3.5mm adapter, ensure it is fully inserted. (Note: Not compatible with AUX or LINE IN ports).
- Power: Insert 2 AA batteries into the bodypack transmitter.
- How to Wear:Headset Mic: Position the capsule 2-3 cm to the side of your mouth (avoid placing it directly in front to prevent popping).
- Lavalier Mic: Route the cable inside your clothing and clip the mic to the center of your collar, 5-10 cm from your mouth.
- Startup: Press and hold the Power button on both the bodypack and receiver, then adjust your speaker volume.
2. No Sound / Low Volume / Popping Noise
- Status Check: Ensure the green light on the receiver is steadily on. If it’s off, the device needs re-pairing.
- Mute Check: If the power indicator is RED, it is muted. Single-click the Power button to turn it GREEN (Normal).
- Volume: Increase the microphone volume on the bodypack (up to level 40).
- Popping Noise: Ensure the foam windscreen is attached and keep the microphone to the side of your mouth, not directly in front.
3. How to Fix Feedback (Screeching Sound)
- Volume Control: Immediately Mute the bodypack and lower the volume on both the transmitter and your speaker.
- Positioning: DO NOT point the microphone directly at the speaker.
- Distance: Maintain a safe distance from the speaker; if the screeching persists, move further away.
4. Intermittent Sound (Signal Interference)
- Change Frequency: If the sound cuts in and out, there may be local interference.
- The Fix: Simply click the "SET" button on the bodypack to switch to a different frequency. Once the signal stabilizes, the sound will return to normal.
5. Pairing & Using Multiple Sets
- Check ID: Before pairing, ensure the ID is correct (TW621 should be "b"; TW632 should be "A" and "b"). To switch IDs, press and hold SET + Power for 5 seconds while the unit is on.
- Pairing Steps:Turn OFF the bodypack, then press and hold SET + Power until the screen flashes.Turn ON the receiver.Click the SET button once; the RF light on the receiver will light up to confirm success.
- Multiple Sets: Pair each set one by one. Once all are paired, turn them all on and set each microphone to a different frequency to avoid cross-interference.
